Mechanic Technician III (1 vacantes) Tecnicos en mecanica y construccion mecanica

The successful candidate will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary Array Maintenance Group in the ALMA Department of Engineering. S/he will be expected to utilize their high level of expertise in mechanical components and, after an adequate internal training period, will be able to service antenna and instrument mechanical subcomponents, including inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and upgrade tasks. Additionally, s/he will be expected to assist other technical disciplines in their areas of expertise, supporting the top-level goal of high availability of the observatory. The successful candidate will report to one of the Array Maintenance Group Supervisors in the ALMA department of Engineering.
